Leather Great Coat
These reproduction Great Coats are bar none the best on the market. They are offered in two different weights of leather and in black or gray. The heavy weight leather is twice the gauge of the lighter but both are beautiful coats. As some current owners have testified "this is the most accurate reproduction I have ever seen, including those from Europe!". I'm confident that not only won't be disappointed, You'll be excited to show it off to others!

What makes this coat the best
A great deal of time has gone in to every detail and we offer the options and features that no other offers. From the proper cut and quality of the leather to the silk that lines the coat, to all of the many features, this is spot on perfection!

Features include:
the sword pass through including pocket loop, fully lined zippered map pocket in the fly (lined with leather in the heavy weight coat and silk in the light weight coat), leather Leg fly straps, two inner breast pockets (one on each side), proper cuff seams, adjustable closure strap, and removable buttons!

Authenticity fact
This style coat was manufactured until 1945 in both heavy and light weight leathers. Often purchased as a custom product, these coats were seen on every front and in all ranks. The Germans never specified that this or that unit be "only" allowed to wear a particular model or color Great Coat however, gray seemed to be preferred by NCO's and the black preferred by many officers. Further research shows that the gray shows up in increased percentages towards the end of the war as opposed to the beginning where black was the prominent color worn. Do a little research in photo books. You'll see for yourself.

Quality
All of our coats are made with the highest quality materials available. Genuine 1mm gauge leather outer and fully lined with Silk.  The map pocket is leather lined on these coats. All buttons are proper pebble grain type and breast buttons are removable with proper access zippers to the inside of the coat. You won't be disappointed!

Sizing Notes:
1. All Great Coats are stocked in standard sizes 40 through 48. Coats should be ordered to tunic sizes – if you wear a 46 order a 46 (unless you want it a little big).
