Our reproduction German Marching Boot, commonly referred to as the jackboot. We painstakingly reproduced our boot from a set of issued original German Army boots. The boot is all leather construction, to include the pebble grain uppers, rough out lower and the soles. The soles are wood pegged, just like the original. All of our boots come with hobnails and heel irons installed. The boot pull up straps are made of cotton webbing.
These boots were issued in the brown. The soldiers had to blacken and maintain the boots once they were issued. Our boots easily accept black shoe polish and the set we did in the shop turned out great. No dye was needed, just normal black shoe polish was used.
We carry only whole sizes, 8-13. The boot sizes run true on every set we have tested, so if you wear a 8, order a 8.
