Loading MP-40 Magazines

***Just a note, we do not control the manufacturing standards of the former German Army.  There seem to be original loaders that work with our magazines and some that don't.   Our magazines vary up to .01 inches.***

Magazine loaders are a necessity with these magazines (like the originals, Sten magazines and others). Original loaders work fine but as an alternative to the high prices currently seen in the market, there is a couple of loaders out there that we have found work fine.  The Vigneron loader works but is cumbersome and the brass handle can be a pain to use.  A better alternative is the French MAT 49 mag loader. You will have to alter it a bit but for $15 from IMA, it will work great and also fit the magazine pouches.  It doesn't look near as farby as that brass handle as on the Vig loader.    We haven't tested it, but after comparing dimensions, we believe a Sten magazine loader will work with minor modifications.
