Since we have posted pictures of the final product, we have had several inquiries about the MP-40 Charging Handle.  Here are your answers.

We choose the 2nd production varient of the MP-40.  This came with the ribbed magazine well and the 1 piece charging handle.  Many one piece charging handles were replaced as the guns were serviced once the two piece charging handle was introduced in 1943.  This was the correct charging handle for guns produced from 1939-1942.  However, this type is seen throughout the war.
